Ruben Amorim not confident in bringing in Viktor Gyökeres
Manchester United have had bad seasons previously under other managers and this season, after their head coach Ruben Amorim took over from Eric Ten Hag, they are having their worst season so far arguably in the history of the club.
13th on the Premier League table with 4 games to play, and are in the europa league semi final against Athletic club bilbao despite leading with three goals going into the second leg in Spain. The relationship between Amorim and Gyökeres is intact that, Amorim wants the Sporting Cp striker to play for Manchester United.
Amorim was the head coach of sporting when Man. United came in to sign him in the January transfer window but he discussed with them after the end of the season, he will be available but as United are in a rush to sign Amorim he has to sign this summer or won't sign for united at all which is a big opportunity for him and his agent.
He joined United after signing and leaving Sporting and now failing to qualify to the champions league through the league phase, he is still doubting that Gyökeres won't join his side, United.
The question is that, will Gyökeres stay at Sporting and play in the next season's champions league or leave to one of the top clubs to play in the UCL, or join a struggling United side?
Gyökeres has 33 goals and 7 assists in all competitions this season and clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona are all favourites to sign him. Will United sign him despite their worst season so far?
