The Blues, under new head coach Enzo Maresca, will begin their campaign in Atlanta with a clash against LAFC, before traveling to Philadelphia for group stage fixtures against Brazilian giants Flamengo and African champions ES Tunis. The squad selection reflects both Maresca’s tactical vision and the club’s continued focus on youth development.
Several new faces have been included, taking advantage of a unique early transfer window for clubs participating in the tournament. Among the notable additions are 19-year-old goalkeeper Mike Penders, centre-back Mamadou Sarr, teenage midfielder Dario Essugo, and young striker Liam Delap.
