Barcelona are trying to raise £175m to buy Erling Haaland
Manchester City star, Erling Haaland is being targeted by Spanish side, Fc Barcelona. Haaland who joined City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022 to continue his career in the Premier League has been set to join Barca after about 3 seasons.
City coach, Pep Guardiola who announced his departure from the club in 2026/27 season, was the one who brought in Haaland to score more goals for his side to win trophies. As he is set to leave, Erling Haaland will have interests from big clubs to play in. As of today,
Barcelona are working on raising €175m to trigger Erling Haaland's Manchester City's release clause in 2026. With new head coach, Hansi Flick who is doing a great job in matches and helping his side beat Real Madrid to win the spanish super cup and the copa del Rey, has worked with strikers in the likes of Robert Lewandowski who is also currently playing for Barcelona. Haaland has renewed his contract for 9 and a half years.
