Britain star Chloe Kelly's staggering story from Three Lions fan to initially group legend

 

Chloe Kelly played 21 minutes in the 8-0 drubbing of Norway as England and Sarina Wiegman set out a marker until the end of the opposition

 

Manchester City winger Kelly went to Wembley to support Gareth Southgate's England side in the Euros last the previous summer as well as hosting get-togethers in her back nursery and her mum decking the family house in banners and scarves. "The previous summer I was going to games and truly partaking in the second and presently this late spring to be a piece of it is splendid, so this mid year, the entire country getting behind the young ladies is astounding, and hearing the fans after the games singing 'Sweet Caroline' is splendid. It's just about partaking in the occasion, the fans and the players generally together, and it very well may be an extraordinary summer so it's extremely energizing for the two fans and players.

 

"You see individuals in the roads and they're sending their help even across the street. It's wonderful, truly contacting and it's good to see England fans getting behind the young ladies."

 

Kelly, 24, is an extraordinary story herself since she had almost a year out with an ACL injury and it was a test of skill and endurance to be fit and in the England crew for the Euros. She has come on from the seat in England's initial two Group games and is frantic to begin against Northern Ireland and she believes she is a lot more grounded for the entire experience which has helped her on the pitch.
