Manchester City winger Kelly went to Wembley to support Gareth Southgate's England side in the Euros last the previous summer as well as hosting get-togethers in her back nursery and her mum decking the family house in banners and scarves. "You see individuals in the roads and they're sending their help even across the street. It's wonderful, truly contacting and it's good to see England fans getting behind the young ladies."
Kelly, 24, is an extraordinary story herself since she had almost a year out with an ACL injury and it was a test of skill and endurance to be fit and in the England crew for the Euros. She has come on from the seat in England's initial two Group games and is frantic to begin against Northern Ireland and she believes she is a lot more grounded for the entire experience which has helped her on the pitch.
