All Premier League clubs will play in Division Two League assuming that GFA downgrades Ashgold - Coach Thomas Duah
Ashanti Gold lead trainer Thomas Duah has revealed that all the 18 Premier League clubs will play in the Division Two League next season assuming the Ghana Football Association reject the Miners.
GFA has downgraded Ashgold and Inter Allies to Division Two League after they were viewed as at fault for match control.
Mentor Duah was likewise hit with a two years boycott as per Article 34.5(d)(i) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations 2019.
The different sides purportedly played a match of comfort when Ashantigold whipped Allies 7-0 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in a matchday 34 apparatus.
"Nobody has imparted to us (Ashanti Gold) that we will play in Division Two. We have pursued the choice and still can't seem to hear from the FA," Coach Thomas Duah told Akoma FM.
"Nobody at the club participated in wagering and it feels terrible when labeled with something you know nothing about(even in a vehicle individuals label me as a feature of the wagering individuals).
He added, "We (Ashanti Gold SC) have not been removed from the GPL so we are planning and prepared for the impending season however God deny we go into Division Two, definitely that won't occur."
"Should that occur, then, at that point, it implies all clubs will play in that zone (Division Two). God won't let it works out as expected, should that happen then all the Ghana League clubs will play in the Second Division."
