Man City and PSG seriously endangering European football - La Liga boss
European football is "at serious risk" except if "state-claimed" clubs, for example, Manchester City and Paris St-Germain can be controlled, the leader of Spain's top association says.
La Liga has recorded a grumbling to Uefa about what it accepts to be Financial Fair Play breaks by the two clubs.
It accepts they are really shown to rich nations and avoid rules intended to continue to spend maintainable.
The two clubs have energetically denied the protests.
Head League victors Manchester City are larger part possessed by Sheik Mansour of the United Arab Emirates, while the Emir of Qatar claims French heroes PSG.
"We're doing it to protect the football eco-framework in Europe," said La Liga president Javier Tebas.
"We think European football is at serious risk. [We have] not had the option to plan a framework to control the state-claimed clubs."
He has emphatically scrutinized PSG over the new multi-million pound contract they gave star striker Kylian Mbappe.
Talking at an European Leagues meeting in Amsterdam, he added: "We've submitted official questions about PSG for monetary doping.
"Uefa have permitted misfortunes since clubs diminished their turnover, yet PSG expanded their compensation bill by an unbelievable sum during Covid.
"Their wages for 2021-22 were 600m euros. It is unimaginable. That is without including Mbappe. It is clear they are not holding a candle to the current situation FFP [Financial Fair Play] rules. It is jeopardizing the whole monetary eco-framework in Europe."
The objection against PSG was made last week and the one against City in April, in spite of the fact that La Liga says it claims all authority to broaden these grumblings.
In July 2020, the Court of Arbitration for Sport toppled a two-year Champions League boycott forced on City by Uefa for FFP breaks.
Tebas added: "At a certain point, Man City had 68% of their income from business pay. Genuine Madrid was 54%. That is unimaginable. Man City as a brand does not merit that much. They were authorized yet it was turned around. PSG is considerably more self-evident. It is absolutely inconceivable. Contracts were expanded.
"Most of individuals in football attempt to control their monetary status. It's anything but an issue they are claimed by the state. It is the monetary side."
