Sarfo Duku, Asante Kotoko's communications director, has alluded to the team's impending decision about interim coach Karim Zito.

Midway through the second part of the just concluded 2024–25 football season, the former Dreams FC and Black Satellites coach took Prosper Narteh Ogum's place on an interim basis.

Despite finishing fourth in the Premier League, Zito guided the Porcupine Warriors to the FA Cup title.

Kotoko won their tenth FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Golden Kick FC.

Sarfo Duku commended the veteran Ghanaian coach's efforts despite leading the team to a trophy, but he stated that his performance will be evaluated, and a decision will be taken.

He told Asempa FM, "We said Karim Zito would be in there as the interim when he was hired, but he has performed well."

He went all the way to win the FA Cup and only lost one game in the Premier League.

He continued, "I am delighted with Karim Zito's performance and the work he has done, but we will analyze the season and make a decision whether Karim Zito will stay as the substantive head coach or we will bring in someone else."

Asante Kotoko will play for the nation in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2025–2026.

Mohammed Kudus, a midfielder for Ghana, is the target of Tottenham Hotspur's alluring £50 million offer.

During the current summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur is preparing a big deal for Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus.

After a lackluster season, especially in the Premier League, the London-based team is eager to bolster its roster for the upcoming campaign. Currently playing for West Ham, Kudus has become a top target.

Tottenham is prepared to put West Ham United to the test with a £50 million proposal for the Ghanaian international, according to reports in the UK media. In preparation for the 2025–2026 football season, the team plans to get Kudus on board.

The former attacking midfielder for Ajax and Nordjaelland, however, has an £85 million release clause in his contract that could be activated at any moment.

Tottenham is trying to entice the gifted midfielder this summer to assemble a formidable team under new manager Thomas Frank, even though Kudus is not pressing for a West Ham exit.

Since joining the Hammers two seasons ago, Kudus has been an important member of the team. The Ghanaian international has made 80 appearances since arriving in 2023, with 13 assists and 19 goals in all tournaments.

The Ghanaian midfielder is apparently attracting interest from several Premier League teams, including Newcastle United and Arsenal.
