As the summer transfer window rolls into its second phase, let’s chat about some of the biggest stories making waves across Europe. So, first up, Al Hilal from the Saudi Pro League? Yeah, they’re apparently “not giving up” on Victor Osimhen. Meanwhile, Real Betis is getting pretty creative in their efforts to snag Antony from Manchester United, and it looks like Barcelona is in a strong position to land Nico Williams.

Now, word is that they’ve come back with better personal terms for Osimhen, offering him a contract that could go up to €50 million a year. Can you believe that? If it happens, he’d be one of the highest-paid players around. But, according to the Spanish paper Diario AS, sources close to him say he’s more about “legacy and sporting challenge” than just cash. Plus, he’s got his sights set on the Premier League.

Osimhen had quite a season last year, scoring 26 goals in just 30 matches while on loan at Galatasaray. It seems he’s on Manchester United’s radar, especially with Ruben Amorim working on a rebuild there. Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport even mentioned that Old Trafford might be a potential landing spot, especially since United and Napoli have a good relationship after Scott McTominay moved to the Serie A champs.

United really need a solid striker to fix their recent goal drought. With Arsenal leading the charge for Viktor Gyokeres, Osimhen could be a fantastic backup option.

Switching gears to Antony—he had a decent stint at Real Betis, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in 26 appearances. When he left the club, he shared some heartfelt words: “When I arrived here, I didn’t know what to expect. It was like coming home, like reconnecting with a part of me I thought I’d lost. With you, I smiled again. With you, I became that kid again. The one who loved football with all my heart. With you, football became love again. True love.”

But Betis aren’t the only ones eyeing the Brazilian. Erik ten Hag would love to bring him back to Bayer Leverkusen, and he’s also been tossed around in discussions with Juventus.

Recently, The Peoples Person mentioned that Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are both interested in the 25-year-old. However, for Betis to come out on top in this transfer race, Antony’s “strong commitment” is going to be key.

They’re even ready to make him one of the highest-paid players at Estadio Benito Villamarín, right alongside Isco. Just a heads-up, though—his current contract with United, which pays him £200,000 a week, runs until 2027. Exciting times ahead, huh?
