Thomas Partey talks about the worst time following the Arsenal transition.

Thomas Partey, a Ghanaian midfielder, has been open about the personal and professional difficulties he faced after relocating from Spain to England in 2020 to join Arsenal.

Partey revealed how the relocation impacted him both socially and personally, calling the move from Atletico Madrid to London the "most painful part" of his life.

In an interview with TV3, he stated, "For me, moving from Spain, which had become like a home, to London, where you do not know anyone, is the hardest aspect of my life." "You join a new team, you meet new friends, and you have to learn how the squad plays. You must act professionally.

After spending ÂŁ45 million to sign, Partey acknowledged that loneliness and acclimating to a new way of life were difficult. "You wind up with individuals you do not really think about at the end of the day, even though you want to experience the city," he said. "However, I always understand that you have to go through the unpleasant portion of life before you can enter the beautiful part."

Notwithstanding his early setbacks, the Ghanaian international has developed into a vital member of Arsenal's squad, stabilizing the midfield throughout the team's recent Premier League comeback.

Although Partey's contract is set to expire in June, negotiations are presently ongoing to see if it can be extended.
