Benjamin Asare, the goalie and captain of Accra Hearts of Oak, has urged supporters to cheer on the squad as they play Samartex in their season-ending league match.

Hearts' supporters are feeling hopeful after the team's recent strong performances, after a challenging and uneven season.

Ahead of Sunday's game, Asare, who has been a vital member of the team, posted a touching message.

"We are grateful to all Hearts of Oak supporters for supporting us over this season's highs and lows. We are playing for honor, the badge, and you as we enter our final match versus Samartex. We are not simply playing for points. Together, let us end strong. I will see you on Sunday. He said, "Let us make it matter."

The game will conclude the Phobians' difficult season, but a successful conclusion could boost morale and set the stage for the upcoming campaign.

There will likely be a large crowd of fans there to cheer on the squad.

Nana Oduro Sarfo, a member of the GFA Executive Council, claims that Kofi Adams lacks a football understanding.

Sports and Recreation Minister Kofi Adams has come under heavy fire from Nana Oduro Sarfo, a member of the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) Executive Council, for calling certain football club owners and managers "clueless."

After a contentious Matchday 33 match between Nations FC and Basake Holy Stars at the Ampain AAK II Sports Arena that ended early, the minister made the statement.

After the referee gave the home team a second contested penalty, Nations FC players and officials stormed the field in protest, sending the game into a tailspin.

Nations FC declined to continue the match, citing biased officiating and insufficient security. The club's owner, Dr. Kwame Kyei, and his son, Divine Kyei, the club president, are accused of being attacked during the resulting chaos.

Minister Kofi Adams sharply blasted several team owners and managers, labeling them incompetent, in his Sporty FM reaction to the situation. Since then, his remarks have drawn criticism.

However, Nana Oduro Sarfo retaliated to the minister's remarks on Adom TV's sports show Fire for Fire, accusing him of being ignorant of the sport.

"I doubt that the health minister will publicly criticize private hospital owners and claim they lack knowledge.

"Kofi Adams, the Minister of Sports, would not have claimed that certain club owners are ignorant if he truly understood football."

Oduro Sarfo continued by accusing himself and the GFA of failing to adequately orient Mr. Adams upon his assumption of office.

"I shall hold myself and the GFA accountable. We ought to have provided him with the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) rules, regulations, and code of ethics when he took office," he continued.

This weekend marks the end of the Ghana Premier League season, but the GFA has not yet decided how to handle the postponed game.
