Before this weekend's final match of the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season, Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has shared his thoughts on his team's motivation.

He asserts that the Phobians are committed to winning the difficult match against FC Samartex in order to attempt to get in the top four of the league standings.

"Despite a few injuries, we have prepared well for the season's last game. Our desire to win in order to try to place in the top four is what drives us, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara stated.

"That motivation is quite great," the head coach of Hearts of Oak went on. We are aware that the defending champions will be the team arriving. We will have a difficult time since they are playing well.

On Sunday, June 8, Hearts of Oak and FC Samartex will compete in the Week 34 Ghana Premier League match.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, the game will begin at 3 p.m.

The highly sought-after Ghanaian sensation Antoine Semenyo has a bright future, according to Kepa Arizzabalaga.

Kepa Arizzabalaga, the goalkeeper for Chelsea and Spain, has been gushing about Ghanaian attacker Antoine Semenyo after his stellar season with AFC Bournemouth.

Semenyo attracted interest from the top six teams in the transfer window by finishing the season with 11 Premier League goals, which was his greatest in a single campaign in the English top division.

According to reports, Newcastle United and Arsenal are getting ready to make a summer deal for the 25-year-old, whose future at Vitality Park is still up in the air.

The former Bristol City forward's skills impressed Kepa during his season-long loan at Bournemouth with the Ghanaian. The Chelsea goalkeeper believes that Semenyo has a bright future.

"He seems really modest to me. He is always willing to listen to sound counsel and wants to learn new things every day, which is something I think is crucial for young players," he told Telecom Asia.

"He is quite powerful and has a very strong body. We have made good use of his ability to play on either wing and shoot with both feet this season. He has the world ahead of him, and I think he is progressing a lot," the former most expensive goalie continued.

Following his brace-heroics in the season-ending match, Semenyo suffered a small knock that prevented him from participating in last week's Unity Cup tournament.
