Bayern Munich have sent an official proposal to Jonathan Tah to join on a free deal
The Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich have went into the transfer window to bring in a new player to strengthen their squad coming next season. They are interested in Jonathan Tah who plays for Bayer Leverkusen. He helped Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso to win the Bundesliga title last season.
As per Fabrizio Romano,
Negotiations are ongoing for the German defender who’s leaving Leverkusen as a free agent, FC Bayern Munich are on it since end of April with a formal proposal sent to Tah.
Barcelona have been keen on signing Tah for months but Araujo, Christensen, Eric García staying changed plans in January with deal not signed at this stage.
Also, as Xabi Alonso announced his departure from the club to coach the spanish giants, Real Madrid, most of Leverkusen players also want to leave including, Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool, Florian Wirtz to bayern Munich and also Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich.
These are important players for Bayer Leverkusen which, loosing them might cause them top 4 finish next season. Bayern Munich move for Jonathan to strengthen their defence is a nice move as their defense is also not that strong. They will also sign, Florian Wirtz to join Jamal Musiala in the attack as, Thomas Muller will leave the club at the end of the current season.
Jonathan Tah will also be playing Champions league football next season and also competing wity great attackers in the likes of, Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, Mohamed Salah, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Dembele and other best wingers.
