The French giants, Paris Saint-Germain have had a good season both domestic and in Europe. They began having the best players and having the best team after the departure of some important players.
After the season started, they were always going to be favorites to lift the French Ligue 1 trophy but in Europe, the Uefa Champions League, they weren't. They have players in the likes of, Vitinha, Barcola, Kvaratskhelia, Marquinos, Dunaroman, who are key players in the PSG team.
PSG in the Champions League, league phase weren't that good which most fans and pundits predicted them to even go out from the league phase after 8 matches. After the 8 matches, PSG has no other choice than to play in the playoffs after they finished outside the top 8 who automatically qualified.
They've qualified through to the round of 16 and met the best team by that time in the world currently, Liverpool. They went on to defeat the English giants and went through into the Quarter finals and faced Aston Villa. Defeated Villa and faced Arsenal in the semi finals and also beat them to reach the Uefa Champions League final.
With all these performances, they were helped by Ousmane Dembele. Dembele was the main man leading PSG to victories. As the season has somehow ended, Ousmane Dembele received the player of the season in the French league 1 for his great performances which has boost his chances of winning the Balon d'or next year.
