The Takoradi Technical University’s Centre for Languages and Liberal Studies, The department has organized a two-day research seminar for staff, lecturers, and students.The seminar, themed; “Enhancing Impactful Multidisciplinary Research Outputs at Takoradi Technical University: The Role of Artificial Intelligence”, aimed to train staff and students on artificial intelligence (AI) tools that can improve and simplify research processes, making them more efficient and impactful.Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Anthony Joe Turkson, who chaired the event, underscored the importance of research in modern society and academia."Research is everything. If we want to succeed in life, we need to conduct research. If we want to stand out among our colleagues, if we want to become people who are recognized for certain specialties, it's through research. I have come to understand that if you are a teacher and you do not conduct research, you will be a laughingstock in the classroom because the questions you ask will be outdated," he remarked.He added that the seminar would be an opportunity for participants to acquire new and additional skills.
