Arsenal have opened contract talks with William Saliba
Arsenal's best center back, William Saliba is being targeted by the spanish giants, Real Madrid to play for them in two seasons to come. Saliba who is desperately to win trophies has being denied by Mikel Arteta’s side mentality to win games to get them trophies.
Saliba who came out to say he will want to win trophies has brought eyes on him from big clubs too. He is young and Arsenal going trophyless again in three seasons in a row has made him to think twice.
Real Madrid who are known for snatching every teams best players on free transfers have being linked to Saliba to sign him on a free transfer when his contract runs out at Arsenal.
Arsenal who have seen Trent Alexander-Arnold moved from Liverpool to Real Madrid on free and also, Kylian Mbappe moving on free from Paris Saint-Germain has made them to act early and to renew William Saliba’s contract extension.
His contract will end in 2027. As Madrid are having difficulties in their defence, they look to go into the transfer window and to bring in more defenders as much as they can to go into the 2025/26 season.
Their defence has cost them the spanish super cup, copa del Rey and the Uefa Champions League and their hopes are on the Laliga which they will face their rivals, Barcelona and they might lose that game due to their weak defence.
