GHANA BEATS CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC TO TOP GROUP C

After drawing their first game and winning their second game the Ghana under 20 side knew they just needed a point to make it into the last 8 or quarter final. And lo and behold the managed to defeat the Central African Republic by a goal to nil. The goal came in the 84th minute when  Joseph Opoku showed some piece of brilliance to finish it off. Ghana topped the group with 7 points. While defending champions put up a strong performance to win the game against Democratic Republic of Congo I  the last group game. This means that they would earn the second spot and Congo would wait to see if they can qualify as a best third placed side. The Central African Republic only finished the tournament with just a point, they got in from Senegal in the opening game of their campaign.


She further urged students to use their attachment periods to practice and acquire additional skills beyond design, noting that such efforts can boost employability and open more opportunities.The seminar also featured a presentation on “The Art and Science of Interior Design” by Prof. Ing. Eric Donkor Marfo, Head of the Department of Interior Design and Technology.Students and staff were taken through key topics, including the differences between interior and furniture design, the artistic and scientific aspects of interior design, essential technical and soft skills for professionals, sample research, project topics, and an overview of courses offered by the department. All roads lead to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, May 9, 2025, as Ebony FC and Benab FC lock horns in the grand final of the Ashanti Regional Division Two Playoff, a clash that will decide which team gains promotion to the Access Bank Division One League.This year’s final, themed “In Remembrance of the May 9th Disaster – Never Again,” will not only celebrate grassroots football excellence but also honour the memories of the 127 lives lost during the tragic stadium incident 24 years ago.
