After the game ended 3-3 in Barcelona everyone knew it was over for the Catalonia side. The top game that came from both sides in Spain was expected to be replicated in Milan. The game has ended and just lived up to expectations. Some may be happy others would also be very sad but life goes on. This is also the first champions league semi final that has gotten both teams scoring 3 goals in regulation time. The 2-0 lead was scrapped by goals from Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo in the space of about 7 minutes. The game went on for a while and somewhere I'm the 88th minute Raphinha scored a goal that looked like the winning goal for the semi final tie. But no Inter Milan had other ideas because an assist Densil Dumfres found Acerbi in the penalty box to make it 3-3. the 93rd minute less than 90 seconds to end preceding in the game. The same score line after full time in Barcelona had resurfaced in Italy. Extra time was next and the momentum had shifted to the host. Some may say the substitution from the coach did cost them, but that is life. Things happen from nowhere and you'd not understand. Marcus Thuram with a better hold up play in the first half of extra time fed the ball to Fratesi to put the winning goal back into the net to make it 4-3. They defended well and kept Barca at bay for the rest of the game, as statistics has it, inter Milan has not lost a champions league game at home for about 3 years now. They would be in  their second final I  the last three editions they lost the last one to Manchester city through a Rodri goal and would look to make up for this one too. The final would be hosted in Munich to bring the inaugural season of the league phase campaign to a close.
