Many people say he really deserved to be name the man of the match after that super clash game that was played in Accra over the weekend, some also say his other team mate is the best left full back in the country at the moment. Everyone has their own opinion about what wemt on last Sunday. The football association it self has announced the team of the week, and to only few people's surprise, Asante Kotoko's Baba Yahaya and Patrick Asiedu have been named in the best eleven of match day 30 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League. Baba Yahaya on Sunday showed the fans of the premier league that he still has that drive that many think is gone. All he needs is consistency and either a black Stars callup of a big team from outside Ghana chasing his signature. With no doubt Patrick Asiedu after taking over from the departed Sudanese has confirmed that he's a good player who can do the work for Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Congratulations to this lads for entertaining the team. We also comend the shot stopper of Karela for keeping a clean sheet for his club.

I doubt the centre referee in yesterday's match intentionally came to the field to frustrate Kotoko. Clearly he is a microcosm of the bigger problem in the system.Every club have enjoyed biased officiating.Every club have suffered from bad officiating as well.The middle men are generally incompetent and need a revival.

I lost that appetite to talk about officiating after a careful observation.With Adom FC losing to Jonnboe, a draw would be enough to send us to the final of the competition.Chairman Duncan took the opportunity to commend the team on their outstanding performance throughout the season and encouraged the players to intensify their efforts as they prepare for the national stage.As champions of the Central Region, you are not only representing your club but the entire region. I have full confidence in your abilities, and I urge you to remain disciplined, focused, and determined.
