Kevin De Bruyne goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers makes him set a record

Kevin De Bruyne plays for Premier league side, Manchester City. He is arguably the most important player in the City team as he is being compared to Premier League legends, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard and many more.

He helped Pep Guardiola side to win about 6 Premier league titles and 1 Uefa Champions League trophy in over 9 years as a city player. Pep Guardiola’s side have had the worst season so far in his career despite never finishing outside top 3 before.

De Bruyne form was really not impressive at the start of the season due to the team performances, and injuries.

As the 2024/25 season is coming to an end, City are in the Fa Cup final going to play against Crystal Palace at Wembley and, with four games to go in the Premier League, on matchday 35, Kevin De Bruyne has become the first ever player since Lionel Messi to register 250 goal involvements under Pep Guardiola after scoring the only goal to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad.

He will leave the club at the end of the current season after over 9 years at City. It has always being a privilege to watch KDB play, because when he is on the ball attacking, you find it so amazing because he brings in so much goals and assists.

What are your thoughts as a Manchester City supporter or fan about Kevin De Bruyne’s career at City despite not even winning the Balon d'or as far as he is a legend of the club?
