Speaking candidly, Kwame Opoku said that he had emotional difficulties when he made the decision to quit Asante Kotoko in 2021.

Before joining the Algerian team USM Alger, the striker scored nine goals for Kotoko. Now, he has returned to the team and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

On the morning of his departure, Opoku talked about his feelings regarding the tough choice to depart.

"I had to make the difficult decision to leave Kotoko. I felt horrible about leaving a fantastic club like Kotoko the morning before I left. I had been linked to the squad and the fans who made me feel at home, so it was not easy," he disclosed.

Kotoko's inconsistent offensive has caused some people to be excited about Opoku's return. Albert Amoah, who has scored about 70% of the team's goals this season, has been a major pillar of the team. Opoku's arrival should improve the team's offense and lessen Amoah's workload.

"I have to support the squad as a whole to compete on the continent, win trophies, and accomplish its objectives. Opoku continued, "I think I have a lot to give this time around, even though I could not win any trophies in my first stay.

His unveiling took place on Sunday, just before Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash.

Andre Ayew accuses Le Havre colleagues, "We have to do everything we can to avoid dropping points in forthcoming games."

Attacker Andre Ayew of Le Havre has urged his teammates to make all effort in order to prevent the squad from losing its next games against Olympique Marseille and Stade Briochin.

The current French Ligue 1 season has been difficult for Le Havre. They have 12 points from 15 games, which puts them in 17th place on the league log.

When they play Marseille on January 5 after defeating Briochin in the Coupe de France (French Cup) Round of 64 on Saturday, December 21, they will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

In a post-match interview following Le Havre's 3-0 loss to Strasbourg over the weekend, Ayew urged his colleagues to exert every effort to win the next games.

"Indeed, it is not easy, but we have a crucial match on Saturday—the Coupe de France and the Velodrome match against Marseille—and we are going to do all in our power to avoid finishing these two games with zero points."

In the league, Le Havre has four victories, eleven defeats, and 18 goals given up.
