Bayern boss Tuchel on the situation of  Sadio mane who joined from Liverpool last season.

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has shed light on why Sadio Mane has fallen out of favor at the Bundesliga champions. Bayern is reportedly willing to sell Mane for a mere ÂŁ17 million in order to raise funds for the potential acquisition of Tottenham striker Harry Kane. During his first press conference ahead of the new season, Tuchel explained the reasons behind Mane's struggles since his ÂŁ35 million move from Liverpool.

Tuchel stated that Mane has not met expectations and has found it difficult to compete due to the high level of competition at Bayern. The coach acknowledged that Mane is aware of his own performance and understands both Tuchel's and the club's opinion of him. Mane's debut season in Bavaria has been challenging, failing to live up to the club's hopes following his substantial transfer.

Bayern Munich had hoped to secure Kane's signature for approximately ÂŁ70 million, taking advantage of the fact that Tottenham could lose the star player for free when his contract expires next summer. However, Tottenham is reportedly set to reject Bayern's second offer and has placed a ÂŁ120 million price tag on the England captain.

In order to bolster their transfer budget and still have a chance to sign Kane before the end of next season, Bayern has reportedly decided to hold a summer fire sale. The club aims to raise ÂŁ17 million from the sale of Mane, along with ÂŁ12 million from Austrian midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and up to ÂŁ34 million from Benjamin Pavard, who is a target for Barcelona.

The most expensive player on Tuchel's transfer list is 21-year-old Dutch talent Ryan Gravenberch, who could potentially bring in up to ÂŁ42 million. Additionally, Bouna Sarr, Alexander Nubel, and Yann Sommer are expected to be sold for fees below ÂŁ8.5 million.

In summary, Thomas Tuchel has revealed the reasons behind Sadio Mane's struggles at Bayern Munich. The club is prepared to sell Mane for ÂŁ17 million as part of their effort to raise funds for the potential signing of Harry Kane. Tottenham, however, is likely to reject Bayern's offer and has set a price tag of ÂŁ120 million for their star striker. In order to strengthen their transfer budget, Bayern is planning a summer fire sale, with Mane, Sabitzer, and Pavard among the players expected to be sold. The club is keen to secure Kane's services before the end of next season, and they hope to generate sufficient funds to make that possible.
